Welcome to the 1 day workshop on Automotive Styling and Sketching. Please go through this mail thoroughly and follow instructions carefully.

AUTOMOTIVE SKETCHING AND STYLING is a 1-DAY HANDS-ON TRAINING for students and automobile enthusiasts. The workshop will give practical training in automotive sketching and expose the students to the latest developments in styling as well as the career opportunities in the automotive sector.

OUR GUEST FACULTY PROFILE

Mr. Sathiyaseelan, Head of Styling - Ashok Leyland. He has an M.Des Degree from IDC, IIT Delhi. He has worked and led teams in automotive styling at Nissan(Japan), TVS, General Motors and TATA Motors before joining Ashok Leyland. He is passionate about teaching Design to young minds. POST LUNCH SESSION 

• DIve Deeper into car Sketching and work on side view sketch
• Work with the instructor on getting your sketch right
• Apply Principles of shading/lighting and render the sketch
• Quick rendering of side view car-sketch using color pencils

 BREAK 

• Career in Design and How to Plan your design career  ( 4PM - 5 PM ) 60 min

• Portfolio prep

• Certificate and Awards distribution

Limited Parking is available at the venue. Please park outside campus as much as possible and walk in. Please avoid calling. 

Entry 
Carrying of ID card is mandatory along with the event ticket issues. 
The registration process will start by 8 am, The Workshop starts at 9 am sharp.

What to Get

!) Sketching/Exam baord (A4 is sifficient). This is mandatory
2) Ball point pen,pencils, sharpners,scale etc (stencil if you have), color pencils if you have
3) water bottle 
4) if you have a portfolio of previos sketches and art work, pelase get.

Food at the Venue
working lunch will be provided at the venue. 

Accomodation for outstation students
No accomodation is arranged at the campus. Please look for hotels lodges in nearby areas of Yeshwanthpur/Malleshwaram area. 

Things to remember 
Strickt instructions ahve been issyed by IISc security. Do not loiter any where in the campus. Your movement should be restricted to the IISc campus.

Plese dress in decent clothes for for a educational event.. Shorts are banned.
