About The Event

This is to cordially invite you to attend a free workshop being conducted by the Deccan Trails and Brigadier Sushil Bhasin on Intrgrated W-holistic Training at the Siesta Hitech, Kondapur, Hyderabad on Wednesday, the 19th of August, 2015 between 11:00am and 3:00pm over Lunch and Hi-tea.

 

Brigadier Sushil Bhasin is an army veteran, an educator, a motivational speaker and consultant, blogger, corporate trainer and facilitator. He conducts training & educational programs for students & working groups, faculty-enrichment programmes for institutions & schools. He is a champion of improving individual competencies resulting in job satisfaction and success.

 

Introduction

Training is a continuous, evolving process which helps move learners from where they are to where they want to (or can) be. To make this transformation one can use various methods (pedagogues).

 

Background

Brig. Sushil Bhasin is an 'experiential facilitator' committed to 'transforming teams and individuals.' His focus has been on achieving the 'Desired Outcomes.' To do that he has been a strong believer of using the‘Experiential Learning’ platform both in indoor and outbound environment. Over the years he has realised that all methods have their inherent shortcomings. After a decade’s experience he has evolved his own unique niche in the form of ‘Integrated, W-holistic Training.’

 

Proposal

Having experienced over 500 corporate training programmes at all levels of management, including some very senior manager teams (CXOs, Sr VPs and VPs / GMs ) and having carried out more than 200 programmes for students / teachers of schools and colleges, he has come to a conclusion that no 'one' method of learning may be good enough. His experience has given rise to a belief that he can work on various combinations, depending on the requirement of the client and the target group.

 

Methodology

The training program is designed to cover various stages like  Pre-Work, Design, Refinement, Conduct and Post Work.

Integration

To achieve the “Desired Outcomes,” he has experimented with combining various tools in its ‘Development Process.’ The program design is customised with a mix and match of what will work best in a particular requirement.

 

The following have been tried out.

a. Interactive Sessions. Activity based sessions to re cap essential theories / concepts related to the subject.

b. Psychometrics. Personality Profiling using psychometric instruments. As he is a certified administrator and analyst of “Extended Disc” and has used it extensively with excellent results. The profile is matched with the behaviour observed in the field.

d. Video Analysis. A tool is available to have evidence based video analysis of behavioral observations.

e. Stories. All learners, irrespective of age, love stories. Relevant real-life stories or those based on fiction, inducted at the right time, enhance the learning process.
