About The Event

The Konkan Kada at Harishchandragadh is located at a height of 4,665ft ASL. We will be trekking through forests and climbing mountains to reach the beauty that is the Konkan Kada. Campfires, a starry night, a beautiful view of Malshej Ghat, and singing all night long are few of the things that awaits you on this trek.


Date: 24th-26th June'17

Assemble at Kalyan station: 10:00pm (Saturday 24th)
Return to V.T: 8:00pm (Monday 26th)

Things to carry:
Abundant snacks (non perishable), drinking water (Min 2 ltrs), extra pair of clothes, torch, towel, bag raincover, windcheater/raincoat/poncho, plastic bags, sleeping bag.

Difficulty level: Challenging

Please note:
We are going to stay in the wild, so inevitably the facilities will be wild too. Nature's calls shall be answered in the open. This is a trek and not a nature trail, we will be ascending and descending mountains through the course of the trek. Eventually we will set up camp in a cave where will spend the rest of the night.
Drinking water will be available at various points upward. Please wear sturdy closed footwear that won't tear. And do not carry sling bags or any bag that dangles. Try keeping your hands free at all times.
In case you don't have a sleeping bag, one can be rented out to you for an additional cost of Rs 400. For those of you renting out sleeping bags from us, please carry a haversack or a bag big enough to fit a sleeping bag in, so that it doesn't get wet if carried outside.
