Introduction:

• The global automotive industry faces important challenges, from the rapid growth of the supply base in emerging markets to the need for improved performance, reliability and cost effectiveness. In response to these challenges, ISO/TS 16949:2009, the automotive quality management system standard that’s based on ISO 9001 is changed. The new standard is known as IATF 16949:2016.
• IATF 16949:2016 will replace the current standard, ISO/TS 16949:2009 and all organizations currently certified to ISO/TS 16949:2009 will need to transition to the new standard by 14th September 2018. And all audits after October 1st 2017 must be conducted to IATF 16949:2016.
• It has laid down clear requirements for the Internal Auditor Competency and also the Trainer’s Competency. It also helps people to get an opportunity to enhance their auditing skills & demonstrate compliance to the standard’s requirement.
• The course is highly interactive, not only with reference to answering queries, but also sharing the experience gathered through regular audits & working experience in the automotive industry. The course includes series of lectures with individual/syndicate exercises for better learning.
