The fundamental course provides a basic understanding of online advertising and the AdWords platform. Participants learn to set up an AdWords campaigns, measure their results and optimize performance.

Module 1: Understanding the value of online advertising
The module provides an overview of the benefits of online advertising and AdWords, explains the structure of Google's advertising networks and the related advertising opportunities.

Module 2: Setting up an AdWords campaign
The module explains the basics of choosing a campaign type, structuring your campaign, targeting your audience, setting budgets and bids, and creating ad groups. It also covers tools such as display planner and keyword planner that help to get started.

Module 3: Measuring and optimizing performance
The module teaches the core skills of measuring and optimizing the results of your campaign.

AdWords Fundamentals Exam
100 questions to be solved in 120 minutes, required minimum score is 80%.

 

AdWords Search Advertising

This course provides an in-depth understanding of AdWords search advertising. It covers search advertising trends, the running of search campaigns and advanced concepts for optimizing and testing your campaigns.

Module 1: Search advertising overview
The module covers general search trends and opportunities in search advertising.

Module 2: Set up your Search Network campaign
The module provides the knowledge and skills to set up a well-structured AdWords account, covers different types of search ad campaigns and explains the elements of an effective search ad and its extensions. It also touches on landing page experience, keyword insertion and mobile adverts.

Module 2.1: Showing your ads
The module explains the importance of different keyword match types and negative keywords. It provides tips for building an effective keyword list as well as language and location-based targeting.

Module 2.2: Determine your bid and budget
