- 10:00 AM: Introduction to Big Data, Hadoop & allied tools
​  Get introduced to the concepts of Big Data, HDFS and MapReduce framework. Get a 
​  deeper understanding of Hadoop 2.x Architecture. Learn to setup Hadoop Cluster and 
​  write Complex MapReduce programs. Explore data loading techniques using Sqoop 
​  and Flume while performing Data Analytics using Pig, Hive and YARN. The session is 
​  inclusive of lunch.

- 9:30 AM: Day 2 - Assemble

- 10:00 AM: Advanced concepts, Real Life Project
​  Implement HBase and MapReduce Integration. Find out how to use advanced usage 
​  and indexing. The session is inclusive of lunch. Schedule jobs using Oozie and 
​  implement best practices for Hadoop Development. Work on a Real Life Project on Big 
​  Data Analytics.

- Post Workshop: Portfolio Project
​  Take up the task of finding the optimum route for one or multiple flights as your portfolio 
​  project and earn a brownie point for your resume in 1 week.

Q. Do I need to carry a laptop?
​A. Yes and also carry a pendrive.

Q. Do I need to have programming knowledge?
​A. Basic knowledge of programming is required.

Q. What are the software requirements for this event?
​A. A laptop with minimum 4 GB RAM, Hortonworks sandbox , Java JDKEclipse IDE.

Q. Do I need to carry any ID proof for the visit?
​A. Yes. Kindly carry govt-issued ID proof AND your college ID card.

Q. Is photography/videography permitted at the visit?
​A. No it is not, unless instructed otherwise.
