Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), one of the country's premier B-schools will host Start-up Fair, a two day event on 24th-25th January, 2015 as part of Quo Vadis, IIFT's annual management and cultural fest at its Delhi campus. Start-up Fair 2015 is a unique idea which seeks to facilitate interaction between Venture Capitalists, seasoned and upcoming entrepreneurs, academia and students of IIFT Delhi and other visiting campuses at Quo Vadis. The event will involve participation from esteemed business leaders and will be an opportunity for start-ups to access IIFT's talent pool. Start-up fair will include activities like demonstration stalls, guest lectures, workshops, panel discussion with experts and elevator pitch sessions in front of a panel of VCs and academia.
Twenty start-ups will be shortlisted from a pool of interested start-ups and invited to setup their stalls in campus premises on one of the two days i.e. 24th-25th January meaning ten start-ups will be showcased on each day of the fair. Through these stalls, the start-ups can showcase their ideas to the visitors of this fair which will comprise of VCs, academia and students participating in the fest.
VCs comprising Mr. Ashu Agrawal and Mr. Girish Shivani would be on campus. Also, mentors such as Mr. Siddhant Bhansali and Mr. Gaurav Gupta would be present. We also have a partnership with Business World and Stirring Minds.
