About The Event

About Program :

The cliff owes its name to the Duke of Wellington, whose ample nose it resembles. The most prominent rock structure that overhangs from the valley to the right when we drive up to Lonavala is Duke's Nose. The trek starts from khandala and head steeply upwards to hit the plateau. Climbing from Khandala is a good getaway for adventurous trekking that can be done under 2.5 hours & get down towards Kurvande Village in just 45 Minutes. Just keep your water bottles filled to the brim always as drinkable water is difficult to be found on the way and enjoy the climb to the Cobra’s Hood. Right on the top of the Duke's Nose is a small temple. An interesting trek and breathtaking view!!! This trek in monsoon is trekkers delight short and simple and easy for novice. Definitely recommended for breathtaking views of the waterfall while crossing the valley and Shiva's temple at the top plateau!
