DevOps is a term for a group of concepts that, while not all new, have catalysed into a movement and are rapidly spreading throughout the technical community. Like any new and popular term, people have somewhat confused and sometimes contradictory impressions of what it is. When we look at software development for any organisation, the requirement of technical excellence is very essential to create synergies for generating faster and better software solutions.

DevOps had been classified as “on the rise” in the Gartner Hype Cycle during 2013. Many organisation realised and benefited by DevOps in 2016. DevOps has been adopted by 25% of Global 2000 organizations, as per the DevOps Institute.
