We are excited to conduct a basic workshop on unique Contemporary dance - It's a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.
Durga is a contemporary dancer and choreographer and especially keen on teaching and exploring organic movement principles, spatial and speed dynamics and of course creating vocabulary using the body as a tool for expression.
This workshop is open for upcoming dancers, students, sports people, fitness enthusiasts, yoga practitioners and anyone who's interested to know the basics of Contemporary dance.
