Race Overview

DATE: 2nd Dec 2017

START: Decathlon Wagholi- Pune

DISTANCE: 485 km 

RACE FORMAT: Solo Race stage event.

1st day -2nd December

DecathLon wagholi - bandgarden-sancheti chowk-deccan-alka chowk-sinhagadroad-new katraj tunnel-khambataki-satara-sai international-kanerwadi(kagal)= 255km

Day 2 -3rd december

Kanerwadi (kagal)- tawandi-belgaon-rani chenmma circle-chorla ghat-bicholim-kasarwada-mandvi river (Panjim)- goa university-innternational goa center(ICG)=230km

Rules and Regulations

•  1: General
•  
• Healthy race with positive attitude.
•  
1. All riders will have to take responsibility  for reading and understanding rules and regulation for complete race.
2. All riders understand and accept to follow all road rules as laid by road transport authority.
3. All participants take complete responsibility of riding on highways.
4. All rules and regulations must be obeyed by all riders and support crew members at all times.
5. Road are subject to change based on ICC team based on the road condition post mansoon.
6. It will be compulsory for every rider to sign indemnity bond.
7. Numbers of participants are restricted.
8. Mode of communication will be thru whatsapp.
9. Min age : 18 years  as on 10^th Nov 2017 …Max : No age limit.
10. This is SOLO race only.
11. Your ticket cost includes two night hotel stay in double or triple sharing at stage location.
12. You can not leave hotel without informing race officials.

2: Guidelines to follow …

1. All Riders will have two common crews provided by ICC, if they need  kind of support.
2. All riders should be self-sufficient and properly equipped from technical and commercial point of view
3. You should have sufficient amount of required food stuff , You are allowed to break for buying food stuff  but remember this is a race.
4. One crew will be behind the last rider and one will travel at mid position of the race.
5. All riders can keep their stuff in the crew, crew vehicle will available based on their position.
6. All rider must behave in friendly manner with all riders. ” No Elbows or You will be next Sagan”
7. No rider can take drafting advantage. The distance between two riders must 10 meters.
8. All riders can share their stuff with other riders. (Puncture Kit. Tool Kit Spare Tube and Headlights)
9. All riders are allowed to help their fellow rider, if they wish..But remember this is a race.
10. If any member could not follow cutoff timing at each station, such rider will be shifted in support vehicle and that makes your disqualification for participating race positions.
11. Rider who takes support vehicle to travel will loose the chance for participating in race for position but they can RIDE till end point.
12. All rider will follow road safety rules while riding.
13. Support vehicle will have common technical support person, he will assist on first come first basis.
14. All the rider will report at Manned points as mentioned in the rider plan booklet.
15. Riders can not travel across  more than 50 meters from the defined route.
16. Reaching cutoff point will be compulsory for every riders.
17. Any rider wish to withdraw from the race must call the race director for furher help.
18. No riders will be allowed to take support of any motorise vehicle or towing bicycle with help of motorise vehicle  while riding the bicyle. If it is proven any rider has taken such support they can be barred from the race and such riders will not be given any kind of help support vehicle. Their will be not be given any prize money/ medal or can be even recalled and they will be blacklisted, They can not participate any ICC event in future.
19. SPY crew members and local authorities are positioned throughout the Race Dist. You can not hide from any miss conduct.

 3. Bicycles, Hemlet & Reflectors

1. All the bicycles must be driven by rider (human) force only. No electrical driven bicycle are allowed. Bicycle can have Disc wheels, wheel covers.
2. Following category of cycles are allowed …Road bicycle, Hybrid , MTB. Non geared bicycles are not allowed.

3. Riders must wear an appropriate cycling helmet, properly fastened when riding a bicycle.
4. rider nos badge for bicycle and helmet will be provided by ICC.
5. They must have tail lamp blinker for bicycle or helmet.
6. The lumens of tail lamps must be clearly visible from 300 mtrs.
7. If any rider found riding without tail lamp blinking or without headlight  during low visibility time during the day or after sunset, SUCH RIDERS WILL BE PUNSHIED WITH 20 MINS PANELTY.
8. Riders all the time must wear reflector material which is visible from at least 200 mrts. It can be jacket , it can be inbuilt jercy or other stuff.
9. Reflective tape should be on fork , rear triangle of frame, cranks, at rear of pedals or heels
10. All the riders Must use Strava App which will help to locate all the riders.

ICC reserves rights to change, create, modify rules based on circumstances. ICC team’s decision will be treated as final decision.
