Colors

Colors is an annual fundraiser for V Care, a Hyderabad-based charitable organization. Funds raised through this event will be utilized to complete the construction of the 25,000 sft shelter home at Dindigul Village. Every ticket bought is a donation made.

Performers:

• Padma Shri Shobana - Shobhana is an accomplished Bharata Natyam dancer.She has worked on collaborative ventures with the likes of tabla maestro Zakir Hussain, Vikku Vinayakram and Mandolin Srinivas. Her recitals abroad include those at the World Malayalee convention, in the United States in 1985 and 1995, in Kuala Lumpur before the King and Queen of Malaysia, numerous cities in the United States and many more.
• Capricio - Capricio is a classical fusion band from Hyderabad who blend different genres to bring a different aroma to our music. They are among the finest fusion bands of the city.
• Sand Animation - Venugopal is one of the finest sand artists of the country.He is the finalist of India's got Talent and winner of many national reality shows. He will be performing speed art also at COLORS

About V Care:

V Care is a non-profit organization working for underprivileged children - orphaned, abandoned, destitute and other vulnerable groups. Our mission is to change lives of such children - by providing them with long-term care. This includes basic needs, education and healthcare, and skills necessary to transform them into responsible citizens.

We are based in Dundigal, outskirts of Hyderabad. 160 of our children stay in a 25000 sq ft facility We also have a separate facility for cooking and dining. Forty of our children in STD XI and above stay in various residential colleges in Hyderabad.

In addition, we also sponsor the education of more than 200 poor children in collaboration with corporate and non-profit partners.
