What is the Eligibility to apply for CAPM®?

What is the cost involved to get CAPM®?
There are two costs involved.
1. Training cost which you will incur with Armadillo Consultants which is 12000 INR (+ taxes).
2. Exam cost which you will incur with PMI itself which is 225 USD (for registered PMI members or 300 USD for non-members).
After passing CAPM®, how many years is it valid?
Once you are certified as CAPM®, it is valid for next 5 years from the date you passed.

What happens after 5 years’ time period? Is there a recertification/renewal possible?
Yes, during 5th year of CAPM®, you may take up the recertification exam. Should you not go for recertification, the CAPM® credential will lapse at the end of 5 year duration! However, it is often observed that in these 5 years, applicants gain the required experience on Project Management to become eligible for PMP® certification (a level higher than the CAPM® itself). And the CAPM®’s go ahead with PMP® credential thereafter.

What is the CAPM® exam format itself?
Duration of CAPM® exam is 3 hours for 150 Multiple Choice Questions. Out of 150 Questions, 135 Questions are Scored and 15 are not Scored pre-test Questions. These 15 Questions are randomly placed across the entire set of Questions and one cannot make out which ones are these. Such Questions are a way for PMI® to check upon the validity of such future exam questions in an effective manner.

What is the pass score on the CAPM® exam?
