Bangalore – 2nd Edition After testing Bangalore and Mumbai testers' Community, we are back again with the biggest version of Bugasur i.e. more apps, more bugs and bigger cash prizes. The rules stay the same – it’s now upto you to impress us with your bug catching skills!
Venturesity’s Bugasur is an open invitation hackathon to all talented testers and developers. Here is where we want you to test out upto 8 apps and report any and all bugs. In return, the most critical bug found will win you attractive prizes and major street cred!
STRUCTURE: - Maximum of 8 apps which are launched or yet to launched will be a part of the program. - All participants are to bring their own Android/IOS devices as well as laptops. - Mobile/web apps will be available to all participants - Register as individuals or teams of max 2 testers. Solo testers can be given a teammate on the day itself if they want.
RULES: - Participants will have 3-5 hours to find out various bugs and flaws. - You may use any testing parameters to detect as many bugs as possible. - Reported bugs will be judged by app owners at the venue. - According to the criticality of the bug, cash prizes of INR 70K and cool giveaways to be won. - Winners will be decided based on the sum total of scores over all bugs reported for that particular application. - 8 apps plus 3 winning teams each = 24 winning opportunities according to the severity and reproducibility of the bugs submitted!
JUDGING CRITERIA: Winners will be judged by the app owners who will make their final decisions based on: - Explanation of the bug found by the tester - Severity of the bug found - Reproducibility of the bug by the tester
