About The Event

A.R. Rahmans Western Vocals Workshop is back yet again on popular demand of the students to learn singing from the institute of the pioneering musician. The A.R. Rahmans Western Vocals Workshop is being organized in association with the I Love Mondays, in Bangalore, which would be a 10 day summer program from July 11, 2014 - July 20, 2014 at the UB City, Concorde Towers.

During the course the students would be trained in Western vocal performance, creative musicianship and music theory, all of which would be taught by the pioneering musicians from across the world.

A.R. Rahmans Western Vocals Workshop would be an ideal platform to learn about the various genres and styles of the Western Vocal music, along with getting acquainted with the techniques for solo and ensemble performances.

The workshop would have the best of faculty who are experienced musicians and academics from the UK and US, based at KM Music Conservatory, Chennai. Dr. Philip Taylor and Dr. Jimmy Bunch from KMMC.
