An awareness program on “Cyber Crimes in Banking Sector”
19th June, 2015 at 4pm at Federation House, Red Hills, Hyderabad
Most banks in India have moved transactions of payments through cards viz. debit/credit and to electronic channels like Internet banking and mobile banking. The threat has followed customers into cyberspace with mechanisms like cloning, phishing, key logging, spyware, malware and other internet-based frauds targeted specifically to the bank customers. Because of this banking frauds escalated due to the lack of user awareness and security measures. Cyber crimes on debit or credit card multiplied as fraudsters evolve with new methods to stay ahead of banks, though banks are improving security features with chip and pin cards.
In this backdrop, FTAPCCI in collaboration with Central Crime Station, Hyderabad City Police is organize an awareness program on “Cyber Crimes in Banking Sector” on 19th June, 2015, at 4pm at Federation House, Red Hills, Hyderabad.
