About The Event

Radhika Vaz is an improvisational comedian and writer who lives and works in New York. She gave up a career in advertising to follow her true calling: making people laugh and think. She trained with members of the Groundlings School, Improvolution where she is a visiting faculty member, Upright Citizens Brigade and the Magnet Theatre. Her bi-weekly column (Read It And Weep) in the Times of India's op-ed page reaches millions of readers and she recently signed a book deal with Aleph for a non-fiction book of short stories that will be published in April 2015. Her hobbies include power lifting and watching an embarrassing number of low-quality reality TV shows.

  • Neeti Palta

One of the few female English Stand-Up comedians in the country. Neeti is ex-advertising, ex-TV writer, ex-shy person and now a Bollywood screenplay writer. She has made people laugh all across the country and some in Singapore as well. Neeti was voted as the best Stand-Up Comic at the Oz Fest and was India's first Stand-Up to perform at Melbourne for the prestigious Melbourne Comedy Festival 2013.

  • Sanjay Rajoura

Sanjay Rajoura (born on 18 September 1973) is a popular stand up artist and actor. After working in the software industry for almost 10 years, he quit his job and decided to become a stand-up comedian. His comedy is centered around common issues like life in India, politics, religion, caste, gender politics and feminism. While most comedians just make jokes, Sanjay tells jokes with a social message.

  • Manan Desai

The brain behind the comedy factory; a proud Gujju who always wants to do something new for his motherland. Bringing comedy from around the world to Gujarat, this comedy producer is a comedian at heart who has a discrete style. He quit his 7 year long stint as a Radio Jockey, all for the love of live comedy entertainment.
