About The Event

A Weekend Film Appreciation Course conducted by K. Hariharan

at Rama Naidu Film Studios, Hyderabad on Saturday the 23rd April 2016 & Sunday the 24rd April 2016

Two days. Six sessions. A chance to talk to experts.

WHO IS CONDUCTING : Hariharan Krishnan is an alumni of the FTII who made his debut with Ghashiram Kotwal ('78) which premiered at the Berlin International Fest. Apart from that he has directed over 350 short films and set up an Indian Cinema course at the University of Pennsylvania ('95 to '04). In 2005 he founded the LV Prasad Film & TV Academy. Presently he is the professor of Creative Sciences at the Mahindra École Centrale, Hyderabad.


WHAT TO EXPECT : You will be both enlightened and fascinated by the greatest moments cinema has ever known both in India and abroad, through discussion, screenings, and interactive sessions. Two guest speakers from the industry will also share their valuable inputs with the participant.
