Race for 7 to make the voice of rare diseases heard

Bengaluru, February 22, 2016: Run (or Walk) 7 km for a Cause! The Organization for Rare DiseasesIndia

(ORDI), a patient centered non-profit organization, is holding Race for 7, a unique first of its kind event

to raise awareness about rare diseases which affect an estimated 70 million patients in India. They are

targeting 7000 people to participate in the event, symbolically representing the 7000 documented rare

diseases.

Race for 7 will raise funds to help ORDI in its mission to improve the health of patients with rare

diseases across India through awareness, advocacy, collaborations and information dissemination

Time: 6.45 a.m. onwards
