Background

World Class Manufacturing Organisation is a need of the hour. It spells about a Globally Competitive Organisation striving for continual and rapid improvement in Quality, Cost, lead-time, Customers Service and improved flexibility. In the present situation “Excellence’’ is the key for survival not only for export market but even for domestic market also.

Objective

The objective of this workshop is not only to improve awareness of the key areas of WCM but also to provide a road-map towards reaching the goal of WCM status explained in a structured manner.

Methodology

The Workshop is totally of participative nature & consists of Lectures, examples from shop-floor, field and business. It also covers case studies and a few exercises, which the participants will be interested to work on.

Participant’s can also discuss their own cases involving manufacturing and quality problems being faced by their organization. The work-shop will conclude by question/ answer session.

M.Tech. (Industrial Engineering)—National Institute for Training in Industrial Engineering, (NITIE), Mumbai, B.E. (Mechanical Engineering)—College of Engineering, Pune

Ø Worked as General Manager- Operations and General Manager-Corporate Quality & Business Development at Sheet Metal Pressing division of Mahindra Ugine Steel Company (MUSCO Stampings), Pune

Ø 30 years of experience in all areas of Operations & Quality Management with world class companies like Mahindra & Mahindra group, SKF (India) and Guest Keen Williams Ltd

Ø Worked as senior consultant with UBF-B, a German Consulting firm to assist Volkswagen, India in their programme of supplier up-gradation

Ø Currently working as independent Management Consultant and guiding organisations in quality & productivity area

Ø Certified Internal Auditor for Supplier Process Audits as per VDA 6.3

Ø Works as Corporate trainer in quality and productivity management techniques in India and abroad

Ø Teaching experience at MBA level with reputed business institutes in Pune, India

Ø He has undertaken international corporate training assignments in Egypt, Qatar and Bangladesh on Japanese management techniques

Fees and Registration

Investment (Donation): Rs. 2,900/- + Service Tax 14.5% (as applicable) per person.

Incentive: Rs. 2,700/- + Service Tax 14.5% (as applicable) per person for a group of Three or more Members from the same Organization.
