SHAMIRPET LAKE: Shamirpet Lake is situated about 20 kms north of Secunderabad, beyond a beautiful drive through the lush green army cantonment areas. It is an artificial one, built during the reign of the Nizams. Its beautiful rocky terrain gives us ample opportunity to use our skills to navigate around the boulders while keeping an eye on the lake and surrounding water bodies....sure is a sight for sore eyes. The lush green country side too helps. The area attracts a lot of birds too, hence a destination for bird watchers.

MEETING AND DISPERSAL POINT: We meet up outside the Secunderabad Club, Secunderabd at 2pm. We should be back to Secunderabad by 7pm.
