Film Making Workshop by Ramoji Film City

 

Oakridge International School announces a 6-day, 5-night Residential Film Making Workshop.

 

Date: 28th March to 2nd April 2016

 

Accomodation and Food:

Triple sharing acco in AC room (Shantiniketan hotel within RFC)Students will be divided in groups of 8 who will be making their own movie

 

Age Group: 11 years and above

(Performing artist info): Ramoji Academy of Film and Television (RAFT) is certified as the largest film studio complex of the world by the Guinness Book of World Records. The chief objective of RAFT is to foster film appreciation talent where students from across the country are offered a platform to learn and master the craft of digital film making and get an opportunity to showcase their work on national and international forums in the category of emerging technologies

Synopsis: Film Making Workshop is an attempt to expose students to the potential of cinema as a visual communication media and empower them to create the same magic they see on screen. Oakridge brings one such unique program in association with the Ramoji Academy of Film and Television.It is a journey through the world of films and a techno-creative art form which has been in existence for Film Making Workshop more than a century. The program will take the students a memorable journey of creativity and communication through the powerful medium of films.

Have you heard of Eating, Drinking,Sleeping and Celebrating Cinema? Well, thats exactly what you get to do with us. The workshop is a 6 day residential program which kindles your artistic and creative senses and teaches you skills that help you realize your passion for filmmaking. Living on premises of Ramoji Film City, you will be working on a handson project which will culminate in a short film production of your own.Unleash the filmmaker in you and join us to create magic with moving.

Open to students joining from Visakhapatnam and Bangalore. Travel costs to and from Hyderabad to be borne by the students independently.

Bus Transportation to Ramoji Film City will be provided from Oakridge International School (Newton Campus), Nanakramguda Road, Khajaguda, Gachibowli, Hyderabad, Telangana 500008 and Oakridge International School (Einstein campus) Bowrampet,Near Bachupally, Hyderabad, Telangana- 500043

2) Fees: 25000/- (Fee includes stay and all meals at RAFT)

3) Age limit: Grades VIII to XI
