OVERVIEW:

  • Are you an Engineering Graduate and have no clue of where you are going to use the bunch of differential equations in real life?

So that you are able to imbibe your engineering calculations into the design and make critical decisions early in design stage and be aware of downstream implications. Thus it helps in cutting time and costs on your design iteration’s & prototype’s further leading to better, robust product to market at the first time.

 

METHODOLOGY:

The workshop is designed on the lines of Experiential Training methods. Hence it starts out with a real world engineering case study. The total workshop is split into 3 phases. 

EXPLORE:

  • General Introduction
  • Exploring real world scenario for the undertaken Case Study
  • Identifying inputs, variables and desired output
  • Defining a clear, concise Problem Statement

DESIGN:

  • Introduction to PTC Mathcad Prime 3.1
  • Basic Operations on PTC Mathcad
  • Input of design constraints and assumptions if any
  • Taking calculations from your notebook to PTC Mathcad
  • Building a responsive Engineering database
  • Integration of outputs to the CAD Design on PTC Creo
  • Giving Rise to an Engineered Virtual Product, not just a “CAD MODEL”

ENGINEER:  

  • Variation of Input Parameters
  • Experimenting the changes and downstream Implications
  •  Building a Prototype of your Engineered model

  • Learn how to entangle your calculations from physical handbooks to responsive cad design

PRE-REQUISITE: Working knowledge of any Parametric CAD tool and Engineering Fundamentals
