About The Event

Akash Rai, a 3rd year student in Mechanical engg, Departmental Rank 1 with CGPA of 9.82 is invited to work in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Braun, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to further explore the self-assembly of functional nanoparticles for emerging energy storage and photonic applications.

 

This is a field he is very interested in and has also worked in IIT Mumbai on similar subject as was awarded the Summer Research Fellowship (SRF) by the Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS-SRPF 2015).

 

Akash is looking for a funding support of 360K INR which is the total expected expenditure.
