ABOUT    5th   INTERNATIONAL WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS SUMMIT & EXHIBITION-2015
 


The Federation of Indian Women Entrepreneurs (FIWE) in collaboration with Indo-African-Arab Women Chamber of Commerce (IAAWCC) is organizing 5th International Women Entrepreneurs Summit & Exhibition. The International summit aims to bring together women leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, consultants, company executives, academicians, representatives of international organizations and national governments besides those aspiring to be entrepreneurs from Arab, African & SAARC countries in INDIA. The main objective of the Summit is to synergize the global opportunities for women entrepreneurs to facilitate an effective socio-economic development. More than 400 participants from over 50 countries are expected with significantly large groups from countries like Ethiopia, Nigeria, Botswana, Senegal, Egypt, Bahrain, Qatar & Abu Dhabi, and neighbouring countries.  


About FIWE:



The Federation of Indian Women Entrepreneurs (FIWE) came in to existence following the decisions taken at the International Summit of Women Entrepreneurs held in December 1993 at Hyderabad (India). It was felt that the Women’s Wing of National Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs (NAYE) should convert itself into an autonomous national level women entrepreneur’s organization whose main function should be networking and to provide package of services to the associations of women entrepreneurs in different parts of country. It was accordingly announced that NAYE Women’s Wing will henceforth be known as Federation of Indian Women Entrepreneurs (FIWE)



FIWE is an apex body of association of women entrepreneurs in India, with a  strength of 30 member associations, and 15000 women entrepreneurs/professionals focusing on Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship Development. It is India's Premier Institution dedicated to nurture entrepreneurial bend of mind and open avenues for self employment among women by providing an opportunity to develop their own creativity and capacity for development and growth.



FIWE is built around the idea of ethical, non profitable and sustainable growth amongst women entrepreneurs. It helps women to grow to next level of competence & growth. FIWE tries to fill the gap of information networking, awareness 3 among women entrepreneurs and helps them to understand the current business environment & their unique services and opportunities, through workshops, seminar and awareness program etc.



ABOUT INDO-AFRICAN-ARAB WOMEN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE  (IAAWCC)



On 24th July, 2014, FIWE organised a meeting with 11 African Women Ambassadors for its members to discuss  “New Markets and New Business Opportunities”.  The outcome of the meeting was suggestion  by three Honorable Ambassador Ms. Genett Zewdei, of Ethiopia, Ms. Ebyan Mohamed Selah of Somalia, Ms. Florence Imisa Weche Commissioner of Kenya to form an Indo-African Women Entrepreneurs forum jointly, keeping in view the growing Indo African business relationship. The idea was applauded by all women entrepreneurs present in the meeting.

The idea was further thought over and it was decided to include Arab countries as well in this joint effort of accelerating growth of women entrepreneurs in the involved countries.

This chamber will work for development of entrepreneurship in Arab & African Countries with co-operation of Indian MSMEs resulting into increased international trade.


 OBJECTIVES OF THE SUMMIT:

•    sessions will also be organized on Market Access for Handicrafts Through B2B(Business to Business) & B2C(Business to Consumer) will be discussed and adopted for providing opportunities for marketing.

•    Business matching facilities for all pre-registered delegates at the venue.
•    Show casing the product manufactured by African, Arabian and Indian women entrepreneurs.



Participants:


It is expected that Approximately 400 Women Entrepreneurs, NGOs, Representatives from Governments organization, Embassies’ of Arab, African & other countries, partner organization & Diaspora Groups,  Overall  Summit  will have delegates who are  women leaders, successful entrepreneurs, professionals, consultants, company executives, academicians, representatives of international organizations and national governments besides those aspiring to be entrepreneurs. It is expected that a large number of women entrepreneurs from various state of country will attend the Summit.
