BIG Star Entertainment Awards 2011

After the success of the first leg of the BIG Star Entertainment Awards last year (a rating of 5.78 TVR) on New Year’s eve, Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd (RBNL), through its intellectual property division BIG Live, and STAR India, have come together once again to bring in the second leg of the first award function of this season where they honor personalities from the field of entertainment across movies, music, television, sports, theater and dance.

Held in Mumbai on the 18^th of December 2011, the show will be aired exclusively on the night of December 31, 2011, and you can catch the action on Star Plus 10pm onwards to see the entire entertainment industry as they make a beeline to Bhavan’s College grounds.

The evening will see Shreyas Talpade let loose his charm and sense of humor and rock the evening with his super comic sense, and keeping him company, debuting as a show host – will be none other than Irfan Khan with his trade-mark straight faced comedy.

The performances lined up for the show will also ensure that the celebrations this year is an absolute entertainment package with super hip hop performances from the Fictitious Group who created a stir with their electrifying performances on several reality shows and also television’s most loved stars ranging Sanjeeda Sheikh, Shweta Tiwari, Ragini Khanna and Manish Paul amongst others.

 The Dabaang Bodyguard - Salman Khan will also groove to the tunes of some of his hits in his impeccable style, ensuring audiences are left wide mouthed! Another sizzling act will be by sex siren and diva Priyanka Chopra who will most certainly mesmerise audiences with an engaging performance. Adding to the glamour quotient will be Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez with a scintillating performance.

On the whole, the entire evening promises to be oomph, glitz and glamour as the entertainers entertain and get entertained, ensuring India brings in the New Year with panache!
